Anna Barry – Integrative

As a counsellor, I’m passionate about creating a warm and welcoming space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My work is rooted in person-centred values, and I believe that therapy is about more than managing symptoms it’s about reconnecting with yourself, your story, and your capacity for growth and healing.

While the heart of my practice is person-centred, I also draw on tools from CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and CFT (Compassion Focused Therapy) when they feel helpful, particularly around anxiety, self-criticism, and emotional regulation. I see each person as the expert of their own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and compassion as you navigate whatever challenges you’re facing.

I believe we are all shaped by our stories and that includes me. I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience into the counselling space, meeting you with empathy, authenticity, and respect for the unique journey you are on. Clients often tell me they feel safe and gently encouraged with me able to explore at their own pace, without pressure or judgement.

Whether you’re beginning counselling for the first time, or returning to it with fresh questions, I offer a space where your voice leads the way. It would be a privilege to support you as you explore, heal, and move forward with greater clarity and self-understanding.

I am a qualified counsellor with a BSc (Hons) degree in Counselling.
